Equity Participation - An Alternative Approach. Medical Mavin has developed a unique method for allowing a podiatrist to sell his or her practice. By bringing in an equity participant, we counter balance the negative effects a salaried associate may bring. Having a company or an investor buy into your practice or allowing Medical Mavin become your equity partner benefits your practice in many ways: Both buyer and seller receive a fixed value on the practice, which prevents the buyer from paying more for the practice after his or her effort was instrumental in raising its value. It also comforts the seller in knowing that an equity partner is financially committed to the practice and will be monetarily compensated in the event of default. And, with or without great credit, depending on the method chosen, the buying doctor has the opportunity to borrow some portion of the monies needed to buy into a practice. Accounting Controls (AC).   A CPA firm, in conjunction with Medical Mavin, services only the medical profession. When was the last time you and your accountant had a personal review in which you were given sound advice, along with comparisons in your profession? AC produces a detailed analysis of your practice due to the knowledge acquired from the evaluation and sale of a myriad of medical practices. Our system enables the doctor to review, with our accounting staff, the monthly operating results as well as the financial side of patient treatment and provider revenue. This allows doctors to identify and/or adjust allocations in order to maximize earnings and minimize expenses. Account Savers - Patient-Friendly Collection System.  Medical Mavin now offers a new and innovatiave collection system that, using new, persuasive, patient-friendly techniques, allows doctors to collect on outstanding accounts more quickly. Using a two-pronged approach, a series of four, increasingly demanding letters are sent to the patient, using your practice's letterhead. These letters first ask to pay the account balance directly to the practice, and second, for the patient to make an appointment for a future visit, with payment modifications. Account Savers possesses all the instruments that a traditional collection agency possesses; hower, it is more patient friendly. This program has been proven to turn outstanding accounts into cash flow, rather than an area of last resort. Account Savers is far less expensive than traditional programs and yet more effective. Tele-a-Patient.  Would you like to increase your earning capacity?  Tel-a-Patient is a medical-specific, direct marketing firm that will attempt to make appointments in your available time slots. Knowledgeable and experienced staff will contact your current and past patients to schedule appointments for your practice. More patient visits can result in a higher gross income for your practice! Also, our survey questions will give you feedback about you and your practice, not like any other one-dimensional types of marketing.
